3 Simple Methods for food Photography.
Composition, lighting and Focus. These three things are very easy to apply and they don’t take long to learn.
Commercial food photography can apply to advertising or editorial areas like magazines etc. You will see samples of commercial food photography in groceries stores catalogs, fast food restaurants and shopping centers etc.
The majority of good food or product photos are those with a well balance source of lighting and coordinated background as complementary items according the occasion. It is best to add plain color backgrounds so there’s not competition between foreground and background. Avoid using light to close or directly in front because it can cause unwanted shadows. Place your source light in a lower angle to create texture. The best for lighting food is to use natural light diffusers (clearprint vellum paper rolls) or a lighting box also light reflectors can be used to target such amount of shadow to bring even light across the photo.
Play with the angle and creativity, start by discovering the tempting area where food will have effect by just taking the first glace, The priority is to make commercial food photographs look delicious and so yummy that when people see pictures they want to buy it or eat what they see.

5 Important keys for Digital Photography
The shutter main function is to set exposure time. While the shutter is open the exposure is recorded by all the light that falls on the sensor. The sensor records both the light and the movement. With a short exposure, (1/100) less chance for movement, and the image would be sharp. If we leave the shutter open for longer than 1/60 more chances for movement and enough blur to be seen.
Depth of field- (Bokeh)
Noise – Problems and benefits
Noise can be cause by many factors, including heat and the activity in the sensor itself. In the process we can also amplify errors. Noise rises with ISO setting, with pixel count and with the use of small sensors. However noise is not a bad thing; it can give texture of what is sometimes too smooth.
The way to understand the relationship between what you see and the record you make of it is to think about your camera as a second observer. However just like another eye, and the best strategy for getting the best result is to control a precise WHITE BALANCE. The precise white balance gives you more room to adjust colors over the image.
*COOL WITHE - FLUORESCEST
*DIRECT SUN LIGHT
Fact: Exposure is the amount of light allowed to fall to obtain an overall image brightness.
EXPOSURE SYSTEMS-choose your method
Suitable when your first concern is DOF such as maximum for landscape or for portraits
Is the best when you need short shutter time for example, fast moving subjects.
Both shutter and aperture are set automatically.
This function let you manually choose the right exposure compensation. For example if you give too much exposure +1.5 stops or +2.5 stops, your sensor records shadows and mid-tones more brightly than necessary. If you give to little exposure -1 stop or less you make your highlights darker, and pushes shadows and mid-tones towards black.
